Day 62: Performed Household Tasks For My Mother-In-Law
The past couple of days have obviously been rough for our family. Although everyone is still in shock and saddened by the loss of my father-in-law, we have been able to hang tough by thinking of the great person he was. One of the characteristics John was most well known for was how hardworking of a man he was. He built his company from the ground up, and over the course of 30 years, made it one of the most successful businesses in the trim and upholstery industry. Although he "retired" a few years ago and moved from California to Montana, he still helped run Bascom Trim remotely and even helped launch a new company which develops eco-friendly seat covers. In addition to all of the things he did on the business side of things, he also was a hard worker around the house here in Montana. So today, for my random act, I am going to try to take some of the burden off of my mother-in-law by performing a bunch of tasks around the house that John was in charge of. Whether it is cleaning the garage or moving things around in the house, I am going to do it to hopefully make everything a little easier for Kim.
