Day 238: Brought Over A Housewarming Gift

My friend Andrew and his soon-to-be wife Megan (their wedding is next week and I cannot wait) recently became first time homeowners.  From speaking to Andrew, the whole home buying experience is super stressful, but once they were able to close on a place, it became very exciting.  Personally, I am really looking forward to buying a place for Lindsey, Isla and I, but we first have to figure out whether that place will be in Chicago or in Northern California (Hint: it will be Chicago).

This morning, Isla had her first ever swim class.  It was awesome watching her adapt so well to the water.  It's crazy to think that just 16 years from now, she will be winning multiple medals in the 2028 Olympic Games as a dual sport athlete in swimming and volleyball.  After the swim class and a delicious Bahn Mi sandwich, we stopped by Andrew and Megan's new place just as the moving van was pulling away.  Luckily, I had remembered to bring the gift that I had gotten specially done for them.  So today, for my random act of kindness, I brought over a housewarming gift for Andrew and Megan.  Andrew, like myself, is a huge fan of late 80s/early 90s era professional wrestling.  I wanted to incorporate that into their gift, so I reached out to our friend from college, Pete, to see if he could create something special for me.  What he came up with was incredible, and is pictured below.  He was able to take the iconic shot of Macho Man Randy Savage and Miss Elizabeth celebrating Savage's winning of the then-WWF Championship, and superimpose Andrew and Megan into it.  I told them that they needed to have it prominently displayed at their house for all time.
