Day 172: Tried To Help A Couple Win A Dream Wedding

Lindsey and I have been invited to 18 weddings this year.  Very few of them have been in Chicago, so needless to say, we have done a lot of traveling.  If the timing works out and it is logistically possible, I try to make it to everyone's wedding.  I do this because I love weddings, but also that if someone invited me to be a part of their special day, I should attend.  Our wedding was so much fun because so many friends and family members made the trip to Capitola, California from all across the country to spend the day with us.  I couldn't imagine my wedding without all of the people that attended because they made it the unbelievable and fun day that it was.  That brings me to today's random act.

The other day, I received a message from a woman named Stevie.  Stevie told me that her sister and future brother-in-law were entered into a contest to win the Pensacola Blockparty Wedding in Pensacola, Florida.  The PBW is a dream wedding put on for free by the many different sponsors of the contest, and also allows for family and friends to attend.  The reason Stevie asked me to promote and vote for her sister is because due to her fiance being from England, if they don't win this contest, most of his friends and family wouldn't be able to attend.  As I said earlier, I couldn't imagine my wedding without my friends and family, so today, for my random act of kindness, I am voting for Rebekah Griffith and Thomas Muldowney to win the PBW contest and ask that you do the same.  Just think about how great you could make one of the most important days in this couple's life.  Man, I am sap for weddings.
