My ladies have been out of town since Thursday, but I am soon heading to the airport to get them. I will definitely say on record that living the bachelor life is no longer as appealing to me as it once was. The amount of carbs and quick meals that I ingest when Lindsey is out of town goes up tenfold. I probably looked at pictures of Lindsey and Isla about 1000 times this weekend, and cannot wait until their flight lands. Typically when I return home from a trip out of town, Lindsey has put together some sort of sweet concoction for me to enjoy upon my arrival. I figured that I would try my hand at welcoming her and Isla home with some deliciousness myself. So today, for my random act of kindness, I made a "welcome home" dessert for my ladies. When we arrive home, they will get to enjoy a delicious cinnamon chip applesauce coffee cake!
