The picture you see is of a little boy who has been through a ton the past couple of months. This was taken while he was awake after being sedated and on a breathing machine. It shows that, regardless of everything that has happened to him (ventilators, surgeries, assorted procedures), he hasn't lost his smile. It is because of that smile that I am going to do everything I can to raise money for the hospital that has given him incredible care since the day he was born. In 2 days, I will be participating in the Chicago Dance Marathon to raise money for Lurie Children's Hospital. If you have the ability to donate, it is much appreciated.
